The Hill Street teaching team is made up of nine kaiako (teachers), all of whom are fully qualified and registered. Our kaiako have studied at institutions including Victoria University, the Open Polytechnic, the Christchurch College of Education, the NZ Tertiary College, the Wellington College of Education, and Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.

Hill Street employs a high teacher:child ratio (1:4 with our Under 2 group; 1:6 with our Over 2 group), which is well below the government requirements (1:5 U2; 1:10 O2).

Helping out the kaiako during the day is our chef Jules, and our office administrator Louise.
